Oil in the gas tank?

I recently had my 13b rebuilt. If running the engine hard, i.e when racing, my tuner suggested putting a little 2-stroke oil in the gas tank to help lubricate the engine seals. Does anyone have any experience with this? How much oil are we talking about here?

If you're OMP is working, use 4 oz. per tankful. If not, use 25 ml. per gallon of gas. Important: Be sure that the 2-stroke oil is TCW-3 (TCW-III) compliant. That means that it burns ashless.
