I was just wondering if anyone has ever run a street-ported 13b through the original exhaust using the stock fuel injection. I'm asking because I am preparing to replace my engine and live in an area where I'll need a smog check through 2009. My plan is to use the stock system to get past the smog checks then swap the exhaust to a twin pre-silencer setup as recommended by Mazdatrix. To be honest I kind of like the looks of the stock injection system and would like to find out about hopping it up a bit, so if anyone can help me that would be great. Otherwise I'll probably go to a twin Weber system or something similar. I'm looking to get 200-250 hp.

200HP might be doable, with lots of porting & fiddling... 250 ain't happening without porting that'll have the smog guys laughing so hard it'll probably kill 'em
