Well, I was at the NOPI nationals today at LACR. There was a nice show of rotaries.
The SR RX7 is pretty dominant in that class and he won pretty much hands down. He did run a 9 sec Supra but by the time the Supra could make a run at him that race was over.
Other than that, I got to see Able Ibera's(sp) car run against that Adam dude's NSX, they were both fast but the NSX was too much for him. He got a good lead off the line but the NSX just was too fast. It almost seemed unfair. The rotary was pulling hard but against the NSX turbo V6...
It was very hot and I am burned to a crisp but it was fun to see some fast rotaries.
