New Mazda Seals, good?

Anybody have some miles on the new 2mm 2pc factory seals? My Hurley's bit the dust the other night(I was expecting it) and am shopping. I guess the only other option I would consider are Bruce T's new "secret alloy" ones.

Any real world, independent experience with either seal is greatly appreciated. I need to get them ordered asap.

I should be installing 3 sets very soon, but I cannot give you any data off them now. I would think Mazda is trying to get away from the seals blowing up due to the top part of the seal getting thin...

That was probably the biggest draw back of the 3-piece apex seal design.

I have 2k miles on my set in my FD, and no problems. There are also a load of other cars in the UK that are also running them without problem, some are even going well at higher boost levels.

Thanks guy's. I also spoke w/ RP in Dallas today. They're having great luck w/ them so far so I ordered a set.

I will be watching, closely, the new seals from R Aviation/ or Bruce Turrentine too. Of course, I hope it's a LOOOOOONNG time before I need new ones...... This is the 3rd time this year now since I didn't know there was a problem w/ the 2mm Hurley's.
