Smile New To 3RD Gen RX-7

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and the Mazda RX-7. I was wondering on this matter. I just paid a downpayment for a 99 Type R Twin Turbo model. I'm intending to build it up to 480 horses at the flywheel. Would anyof you recommend me to do a porting job to the engine or just uprate the turbos? What sort of air intakes should i be looking at HKS SPF or the A'PEXi Power filters? Exhaust system? Blitz Nur Spec R or the HKS Hi Power? While waiting for the car, I went and bought the A'PEXi RSM and a HKS F-CON V Pro ECU.
Would modding the RX-7 upto 480 horses cause reliability issues to the car such as breaking the engine and such as I am intending to use it for about 80% road and 20% track?
Thanks for the feedback guys.

single turbo conversion with a ported motor, look in the single turbo section.
