need to know some things about my third gen.

[SIZE=4]One..... How many pounds of boost can i run through it?

Two..... I heard a couple things about being able swap out a rx8 six speed tranny.? I wasn't really sure on either of these two things?[/SIZE

Have you tried the earch function....well covered in the las 13 years on boost and others already looking into the 8's tranny.

Stock boost is 10 psi. Don't go any higher with stock ecu and stock fuel system.

There is no need to install the RX-8 tranny in an FD. The existing tranny will hold at least 500 rwhp and is geared perfectly for a road car.

the 8 tranny is easy, but the gearing is all wrong for a turbo car. not to mention it's weak and you'll probably break it promptly...not worth it.
