Exclamation Need info on Rotary Engines for Term Paper!!!

Hey everyone, I need any info that you can give me on how Rotary Engines work for my Term Paper. The main reason for posting this is because I have to have 10 sources and I am going to count this thread as one. I already know most everything about the rotary engine, but any history info, or things that aren't talked about much will help me out a lot.

And I'm guessing that roughly translates to:

did you know Dr. Felix Wankel designed a rotary valve for the engine of the JU87 which gave a lower turtle deck and a better vew for the pilot on his bomb drops

hehe, then you can directly quote that bit!! All credit to Gambone of course

Something you may want to check out. Over on the European Forum a guy has posted a picture of an early version of the rotary engine--an NSU Ro80. Sounds like the guy also knows some thing about the history behind the engine. E-mail him and he may be able to give you something really special for that paper. Look for "Ro80" on the European Forum.

About how they work, not how they work in RX-7's.... As in intake, compression, combustion and exhaust; and that there are only 3 moving parts (not including oil pump and something else....) and that they were created by Dr. Felix Wankel, who was born in the Black Forest in Germany and died in 1988.

BTW, thanks for everyone posting those links. I have already went to How Stuff works and used that as a reference.

Another thing I wanted to know is this:
Does anyone know where I can find a .30ci Wankel Rotary engine for less than $260? that's the lowest that i have found it for... It is made by O.S. and/or Graupner.

Thanks!
