MSD 6AL - good ignition??

like the title says, is this any good? does anyone have any experience with this ignition, or would they recommend a different one? I'm kind of partial to MSD, but this is the first RX7 I've built and don't wanna **** anything up. thanks

I had the msd 6a. I enjoyed it very much. The 6al just has the built in adjustable rev limiter. Also, rubber mount the box if you can.

same here i used 6al and 7al both very good and stood up to harsh weather and vibration...however, i did realize that the msd may not be functional at higher rpm only low down....since the multiple spark range becomes one spark at high rpm..........but it never seemed to be a problem for me
