That's very fast for a modified class car, does anyone know what this car weighs in at?

if im reading that right, the 7.77 was the time for the modified class car. the 7.35 was with the new full tube car.

7.77 is STILL fast for a modified(Half back) car. If he ran those times in NHRA Modified consistantly, he'd probably be winning every NHRA Modified race so far this season, as long as he met the weight, does anyone know how much this car weighs in at?

yer in your modified class or our prostreet as we call it he was world record holder with 7.77@176 mph and at one stage ran 21 passes all in the 7 second region in a row...was a very consistent car and driver and won nearly every event attended.this rx7 car weighed..in excess 2400 pounds with him in it....his new full chassis mazda cosmo weighs in just over 2150 pounds with drivercar...is old don ness usa chassis also..chev barretta 1992 car updated since...makes the most power than anyone else which is proof with mph in both cars in oz....cheers...is racing in 2 weeks at new wsid track which is fastest now in country so hopefully will go quicker again......

so what are the minimum weight over there in your proclass etc....over here its just starting with new rules etc for all types of cars ....but the big boys weights are 2200 pounds minimum...because it wouldnt be a bad idea to head over there with some aussie cars to take on the usa ones.....for something different....cheers
