I know what you mean by race gas. We have 116 here and it's great to tune on it really makes all the difference. I have always said it would be better to have a street map and a race map. It is one of the reasons I laugh when guys speak of their 1000hp daily drivers. It's misleading. I do think water injection is great for power on pump. But not for the average guy. You , I , a few, others who know what's involved or at risk. Otherwise you shouldn't tune to it, it's one more thing to smack you if it goes down, and we can absorb that a little better than the kid who just payed all he's got to build his car.

Wow. you wanna go to a lower CR than the stock 8.5????? and run 25psi?? on pump gas??!?!?! Good luck. I think the 8.5 is plenty enough. Talk to some people about lowering the CR before you get crackin on it. As for the weight, i think it would matter a hella lot. If one of your rotor faces is off by a couple of grams you may not feel it at idle, but when you go WOT with maybe 20psi and hit the higher rpms, watch out. The seals may become warped, but thats just what I think.

I'd be careful about purchasing a not-complete-project - I think you're opening a can of worms there.
