Looking to quiet down my exhaust

Right now my exhaust is too loud for daily use and I need to quiet it down. Problem is I dont what to lose too much power so Imnot sure of my best options.

I currently and am running a 3" downpipe from the turbo to a high flow Magnafow cat to dual megan racing mufflers with 4.5" outlets.

I dot really mind losing the size of the mufflers, but i want something that will flow efficiently.

This is going onto to an S5 TII engine with a LARGE streetport and Hybrid turbo running at 7-10 psi normally and max 15psi.

If your going to post, please dot leave comments based on hear-say. And I AM aware of the racig beat system.

Im also trying to stay on a budget, ( in the 100-200 range depending on quality)

One more comment. What all can I do for sound direction? Right now the mufflers are pointed straight out. If I were to put on tips angled down would it help out with keeping the noise down?

easy:

1) replace those muffler with 2 Racing beat 2.5" universal stainless mufflers (dual 2.5" has the same cross section as a 3.5" pipe, so no loss of performance there). Make sure the muffler tips is beyond or at least flush with the rear bumper.

2) Add inline 3" straight thru silencer(s) if #1 doesn't quite do the job, but I think you'd be happy with #1.

You can also get a butterfly valve exhaust cut-out. I was thinking of doing this, but feel free to be the Guinea pig . Make sure to place it as far back as possible so it has as many mufflers in front of it as possible. Optimally right in front of the tips after the muffler, but that my be difficult/ugly. Hook it up to either a load or RPM based sensor and your golden. That way its quiet till you floor it. You could even have a manual override so you can always keep it quiet or loud.

you can always look into A'pex-i GT Spec mufflers.
