Jaytech Intake alternative........

Saw these some time back but forgot to post the link.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

Then all you need would be one of these to top it off.

I would love to have a setup like that, but finding the right tuner without getting ripped off is hard to accomplish.

When running straight up alchohol, additional injectors are needed (vs regular gas). You can still use the TB. Say you will be running 2 1600cc on the secondaries, with this TB you will run 4 * 40lbs injectors.

I don't really think so. There is no other 4bbl TB's presenlty out there that can compare with the flow rate of that thing. It's even flowing as great as some of the dominator TB's.

K&N does, and Turbonetics; I am sure others do, but those two are the most commons ones (at least among PR racers).

question about that intake manifold on the ebay site, it looks like it bolts right to the block, not to the LIM, so how would you attach the throttle body to it...sorry kinda a newb question but it has me baffled.

Just to add to the above. Most of the supercharger companies do like Paxton and Procharger etc.

It doesn't work with any of the OEM intake system parts. This type of manifold is to be used with a "carburator style" EFI TB.

ok now that i have time... are you guys building one of the "Jay Tech" setups that fits the fd3s? im looking into making one? does anyone have any feedback about this intake setup? im looking for the lower portion, the upper that bolts between the lower and tb (i think its called the hat), and a proper sized tb.

can anyone give me any aswers to the many above? thank you for your time!!!

There is no upper and lower. This is a carb style intake that is converted to EFI trough the use of a special throttle body. It would take TONS of fab work to fit these pices on a FD.

BTW the hat is a way to hook the intercooler piping to the throttle body.

That is an elbow that goes from a holley flange to a mustang throttle body. Not really an upper more of an adapter. The "hat" is used when you run a holley style 4 barrel throttle body.

This may be what your looking for. http://kgparts.com/index.php?page=jaytech IIRC they are not making the intake anymore though.
