i run the newer edition J RPP and am very happy w it. i bought it from Ari's shop. at the time they were running one on the lead plugs and making approx 700 h p. that's good enough for me i run a T2 coil on the leading plugs as they recommend.

if you have the newer model i can help you w the wiring etc.

i don't know if its the newer version or not, it has 6 wires. a plug with white and green wires, another with red and black wires and 2 wires marked for + and - battery terminals. i'm trying to use this on my 1st gen distributer setup. the ignition box came off a 2rd gen, just FYI.

Additional instructions for rotary installation 86-91 RX7

The Jacob's Energy Pak will be installed on the leading coil set. The
leading coil set is located under the hood, behind the driver's side
headlight.

Before installation please disconnect negative battery cable and leading
spark plug wires.

Remove black plastic coil terminal cover form coil (marked with L1 L2),
and disconnect the brown and black wires from the coil.

Connect wires from Energy Pak as follows (4 conductor black cable).

Energy Pak car

red brown (went to coil originally) from igniter

green black (went to coil originally) from igniter

white + terminal of coil (where brown wire was connected)

black - terminal of coil (where black wire was connected)

You replace black plastic coil terminal cover.

Don't forget to connect the thin black wire to a good metal ground.

Connect the heavy red wire to battery (+) positive terminal and heavy
black wire to battery (-) negative terminal.

Install fuse and fuse cover.
