J spec FD3 rotor specs

I'm trying to find the specs for my 1993 FD3 rotors.

Wondering what compression they run at and whats the max boost i can run without it starting to det.

If the compression is too high has anyone machined the compression pockets bigger to run a lower CR???

whats the question? FD 3 rotor? or an FD3S 2 rotor engine? max boost is about stock without detonating.

Its a 2 rotor. Basically trying to find out if its worth modifying the rotor to run lower compression so more boost can be ran without the risk of det.

After 500rwhp, ported motor and single turbo with managment and whatever else it take. But I cant find anything about rotors and compression if you know what i mean

It's not necessary. 9:1 it's enought for 1.5 boost on 100+ octane. One fd-guy in Russia runs 2.2 boost on 112 octane on drag strip. Rotors are stock. The turbine is T51KAI, 750 bhp.

The problem is in apex seals only. Get 3mm 2 piece or ceramic.

Spot on, that the answer I'm after. I have to rebuild the engine anyway so I'll go 3mm apex seals.

I have been looking at seals from this company in england.

What do people think??

Mazda OEM 3mm is the best choice IMHO
