Intake manifold Plenum Design

Yes, I've searched. Yes, I've already started the intake manifold and it is almost complete(its all welded or tacked except for the plenum), so this isn't some "I think I'm going to make an intake" thread. Pics will be posted after completion.

Now that thats out of the way, I'm trying to figure out the exact volume to make my plenum, but I can't seem to find any concrete information on the subject. I have Corkey Bell's maximum boost, which reccomends 70% of the engine's displacement(I'm going by 2.6L) for boosted street engines, but does anyone have any dyno proven info or actual experience?

can't remember the dirty details, but run a search on Aaron Cake's Project Tina in the Gen II forum. very good info, pics and just an all-out inspirational saga.

2.6 is way big. unless it is for a 3 rotor from which 3 liters would be the biggest and ideal size.

2.0 liter for the biggest on a 2 rotor with 20" long runners

I can't back up any of this info except for suggestions from a couple respectable rotary builders and a little research i have done on my own.

Good luck to you any way

oops, I meant calculating the plenum volume by using 2.6L as the engine displacement. My current design is around 120 cu in, I guess I'll just wing it and go with that...
