injector sizing

iam about to order new injectors most likely RC's
set up is 87 TII with low impedance injectors,
street port with pfc front mount, full 3'' exhaust and to4e turbo (12lbs of boost)
plans are to get a bigger turbo next winter so i want to get injectors on the bigger side to handle more boost down the road.

i was thinking 1000cc primaries pn# PL4-1000D

and 1600cc secondaries pn# PB2-1600

will this be to much for right now?

also will have new fuel pump and fpr aswell

thanks! sorry but i started to get confused as i do more research on this so i thought i would ask

Why go with old technology injectors, when you can get a set of Bosch EV14 for around the same price, plus you can go with 550/2000 that's enough fuel for 500 hp.

^^ 550/2000's combo is enough fuel for 600+ whp at 43psi base pressure [on gas]--if your fuel supply can keep up.

Lol, thank you for the correction, I was given him a safe number, I know since I like to keep things safe that personally I wouldn't run 550/2000 is my power goal was 600+ RWHP.

But then again the main reason of my posting that Combo setup it was to point out that there are better injectors for around the same price than the ones he is planning to buy.

from what i see the EV14's are all 14mm bore so i will have to upgrade the fuel rail adding another $150-200, (from what ive seen so far)
i agree these are the better injector but i dont think i will be seeing much more then 400hp.

The RC will be more of a drop in for me because i can get them with a 11mm bore and low impedance,
if i had had higher hp goals i would go that route, but for now i want to keep it simple

i under stand all the basics iam just not sure how to calculate what size injectors i really need, all of the injector calculators on there web sites don't exactly apply to rotary's ,

You can also get the EV 14 in 11mm, only thing that changes is the oring, and top hat if your going with 60mm lengths.

But if your stock on using the 1000/1600 from RC that's more than enough for your power goals.

BLACK MAMBA do you have a link where you were getting your info for the bosh injectors?
