Ignition and fuel

Which ignition should I get? Looks like the choices are MSD, HKS, and Crane. Am I missing any and does it make that much of a difference? Will I need to upgrade my coil packs? Let me know what you guys are using and what results you are getting? Also I'm looking to put a dp, mp, fmic, and Power FC to compiment my HKS intake and N1 catback. What kind of fuel upgrades will I need to run 14 psi? I hoping a drop in ful pump replacement will be plenty.

B&M

XS Engineering highly recommends the B&M New Volt ignition. I have one, but yet to get it installed, so I can't comment at this point. It's available from Summit Racing & Options Auto Salon, off the top of my head.

Fuel wise, I think the high flow pump should be enough for 14psi max, don't exceed that though. I'm using the RP pump.

The HKS TwinPower does both the leading and trailing ignitions, unlike most universal units that do just the leading. The HKS is also small and easy to install. I've heard good things about the B&M one, too.

I've got a new web page that might help you make fuel system decisions:

HKS Twin Power...Very easy to install. 15 minutes to find out where to mount it.

Easiest mod I ever did to the car
