Ignition Computers?

Is it worth me fitting a Ignition Computer such as a Jacobs or MSD?

Which model is the best or latest?

Thanks.

Ignition computer? Do you mean ignition amplifier? I have an MSD 6A on both my RX-7s and love it. I know a guy running a Crane Hi-6 and a few guys with the Jacobs. I haven't heard any complaints from any of them. It just intensifies your spark. I wouldn't use the ones that have timing adjustments.

Jacobs is a rip.&nbsp Anything the Jacobs can do, the MSD 6A/Crane Cams HI-6 can do cheaper...

Depends on your mods.

At my level the jacobs has helped a lot. I'm also running 11.5 NGKs all around. Ted is right in that they are overpriced, but I bought mine used for under 200 bucks and they come with a lifetime warranty so I'm satisfied
