Which 2nd gen coil? There are two types. What is an MSD 6 and what is a reg msd? I thought there were two versions of MSD with the number 6; the 6A and the 6AL.

The MSD on a LEADING 2nd gen coil should be pretty good. Is this setup on a 1st gen RX-7? Engine power won't be increased by a significant amount with an MSD on trailing. You probably won't notice/feel a difference at all.

Are you running over 400hp?
If not, ignore the trailings.
If you are running above 500hp, the trailing needs two channels.
This means you need:
TWO MSD 6's (or equivalent) *or*
ONE MSD DIS-2 (or equivalent)
