Ignition amplifier ????

Does anybody know who sells the Jacobs fc3000? Or maybe even a system that sparks just as good?

Try giving Rotary Performance a shout (RX7.COM Performance and Repair Parts for Rotary Engine Service RX-7 RX-8) 330-776-8297. They often have stuff that isn't listed on their website, and since they DO have the fc1000 listed up I think it's a good bet that they'll either have the fc3000 in stock, or be able to order them.

What is it your trying to do and what power levels?
Reason i ask is because a non resistor plug and stock fd ignition is good for 500whp
If you want more go with a rice racing direct fire m&w coil and box kit. Nothing better than m&w.

Autronics 500r? If it wasn't for space constraints, I would run two MSD DIS boxes

The Jacob's brand died about 8 years ago. The analog designs were dated with obsolete components. The brand was purchased by the old Mr Gasket group (who also owned the ACCEL and Mallory ignition brands) and moved it to Cleveland, where it died. Some of the Jacobs parts were rolled into ACCEL and some of the technology was rolled in Mallory. Last year MSD purchased the old Mr. Gasket Group and killed off the Mallory brand and trimmed down the ACCEL product offerings.

You will be lucky to find any new-old-stock Jacobs ignition items anywhere and if you do, please realize that they are dated, unsupported and obsolete designs. Your best bet is to look for something current and supported.
