why do some people say you can't run 3pc apex seals with a full bridge and some say you can? whats the real story? please enlighten me!

I think this is what they beleave: that the bridge is made to hold the corner seal in place but since the apex seals against the side housing if the bridge didn't suport the top piece of the apex it might fall in the bidge port. I don't know for sure I have never looked at it.
