I dont want to get jacked! whats a fair price to pay

What is a fair price to have a AVC-R installed in the FD? and what is a fair price to pay to have it tuned with wide band. I have to say I have given this mechanic a lot of work. I have already paid him to : pull and rebuild engine. make turbos non seq, clutch flywheel, guages, tem relocate, exhaust, wire harness, fuel pump, air intake, work on rear end, Flush gas tank ECT.... He has rebuilt the engine with upgrades and now to complete the work the avcr has to be installed and tuned. Price? price? any discount for all the work I had done?

AVC-R is a boost controller. You meant have the FD not the AVC-R tuned with the wideband I guess.
Installing BC is not too hard, I did it in 1.5 hr tops with Blitz SBC-ID. You still need an EMS to tune the FD though, and I hope your mechanic knows what he's doing here.

Maybe you should try working on your car yourself a bit. A lot of the stuff you had done could easily be accomplished with simple hand tools in about 1hr-2hr.

The guy is chargeing me 250.00 to 300 to install the avcr. He said he also has to go in and set the boost and do a little tweeking with the comander, making sure its not running rich or lean. He is going to charge me 250 to tune with the wide band.
