513rwhp is good.
Its not the max though. The RX-7.com FD has a little over 700rwhp but it runs 23 psi and Nitrous. You could get more but then it is the engine blowing up territory.
Thats when you start breaking things like crazy.

This should really be a two part question...how much hp can you make on your stock motor and how long will it last at that hp level...then add a third. Like what's going to help it survive at that level, ie. what should I do to my stock motor? Is it realistic to assume a stock motor makig 500+rwhp on race gas is going to hold up for a set amount of miles, 10, 20, 30K miles? Heck F1 and CART cars don't make this much hp per liter :-) Have to love rotaries!

Hey rx7tt95 what part of florida do you live in?
hes right it all matters what you want to sacrefice for power. The more power the less reliabilty.
940hp! thats damn good but hes got to at least have a street port to run that. (I could be wrong) but how long does his engines last before they blow?

flaco is not a person to be comparing to when the conversation is of a stock motor. he has the most fully built rotary motor, probably in the world. not to mention the turbo he uses eats small children. each of his motors cost upward of 50 grand.

I think you're giving them too much credit for saying they have the most fully built motor There's really nothing special about his motor. Yes, the motor is dowel, and yes he runs a big turbo. But the motor is SP. You can only do so much in a SP motor. I kinda know what he uses and run but that's the secret I have to keep for having the inside scoop.
It's all in the tuning and trail and error.....
