Lightbulb How to enhance your Blitz DD BOV

Hey Fellows..
A lot of people have the HKS-SSQV BOV in their cars because of its fast reaction on vacuum built up and so perfect release of boost pressure in the system!

But a lot of people also hate the annoying chirping sound of the HKS BOV. So they take the Blitz DD BOV (As I did.) beacause of its Dual Drive fast responding design.

As you know, Blitz offers two different add ons to the Valve...
One of itis the little Cone-filter which prevents oil and other things which are in the systems air from being released into the angine bay.
(I think it is a little bit quieter, too)

But if you put on the Filter, the little hole is closed which is responsible for the fast responding "second drive".

So .. and my experince showed:
If you go off the throttle, on low boost, when The turbos are about to spin up and start to create boost. YouŽll have compressor surge even with the Blitz BOV, when you`ve attached the Filter.

So I made some changes on the Filter add on, to have the best of both worlds:
Fast response + no oil in the engine bay!

I thought I would tell you what I used. Maybe someone would do this modification, too.

What youŽll need:

- Blitz DD BOV with Filter-AddOn
- Tea Filter
- a whipped cream spout nozzle wtf. I donŽt know how to tell thing...
look here, then youŽll know what I mean! (Lets call it Creamnozzle )

- A Dremel
- A hammer
- Epoxy Resin
- Silver Spray

Cut A hole into the Blitz Filter Add-On , where the small fast respond-release hole is.

Give the Creamnozzle a nice shape that it will fit into the small hole.
attach it to the BOV-Add on with the Epoxy- resin.
Attach the Tea Filter (or any other nice and tight filter) to the end of your Creamnozzle.

Spray it and give it all a nice Silver touch (as the BOV-AddOn looked before.)

DONE!!

Thats the finished Product:
The Blitz DD WoDeep mod:

Looks not too bad.
Sounds nice.
And no compressor surge isn`t recognizeable any more!

Kind regards Marc
