Just put a new short block in my '84.Also installed a light steel flywheel and free flow exhaust and header.Since the pollution stuff is now history, I'mwondering about the plate between the carb and the manifold which feeds all the pollution control solenoids .Can I remove this plate as well as the associated rats nest of vacumn tubes/solenoids? any hints/warnings about doing this?Thanks BT
