Talking On a FD3S what pipes can you take off when installing intakes?

Hello,

Got a question.

I bought a new intake system, dual intakes for that matter.

I am curious if I can just use the 2 main hoses for th intakes and not plug in the other 3 hoses.

There is a small hose and big ribbed hose to each intake and a little connecting hose above the radiator cap.

Can I disconnect the 2 small hoses and I guess it is the water pump hose and plug them up?

Or do I have to use all these hoses when installing any upgraded intake?

Any help would appreciated.

Thanks!
