FD twins on 13B-RE

Hi,

I found that my set of twins that goes on my 13B-RE is blown. I would like to know if a set of stock FD twins would be bolt on. I know that I should go with a single instead but I want a cheap solution.

Thanks guys!

Alex

i'm not an RE/REW expert, but i don't see why they shouldn't bolt up. from what i've read the REW twins are just larger than the RE's. bolting up should be a cinch, so the only potential issue may be intake manifold clearance??? - and i doubt it.

You'll need to control it too. It won't just run on it's own. Not a cheap solution IMO.

What do you mean ? I plan on running them non-sequentially with a haltech E6K. I don't see any major problem if it's bolt right up and if the clearance with intake manifold is correct like diabolical1 said.

Also I think it's cheaper to buy a set of used twins, than buy a single turbo with exhaust manifold and external wastegate. But I know the single should be more pleasant.

I haven't tried it, but I would seriously wonder if it'll clear.
The FD 13B-REW has one of the most lowest profile lower intake manifolds.
