Engine build q's

I have just recently tore apart my s5 turbo 2 engine due to a coolant seal leak. The engine parts are all still in very good condition and will be reused (I think this was a japan engine with low miles). I plan on for sure buying a gasket kit for the rebuild, but the engine has 3 piece apex seals and I have been debating on whether or not i should reuse them or buy some 2 piece seals. I also would like to do a mild streetport to the engine while its apart. I'm just looking for some opinons on using stock mazda 3 piece seals or getting some 2 piece seals for a streetported turbo motor
Thanks

ra super seals. you'll be far happier with the motor with all new seals than if you re-used od ones. It's just good pratice

Yeah i want to put new seals in it, Its just that all the bad stuff i read about aftermarket seals scares me. and that the seals still look to be in good shape. I also read that the 3 piece seals are designed some what better??? with a softer inside piece and harder outside piece. but also read that they do much more damage when they break?

Reuse the seals. If you want to know exactly how much life is left in them, take a micrometer and measure the height of the apex seal at the middle. Brand new is .315", junk is .256". There is nothing wrong with reusing good used seals, just don't expect brand new compression, and they will have to break in if using different housings.
