I'm just starting my engine tuning project. I'm beginning with minimizing boost loss. I'm starting out with a hks hiper exhaust, I'll empty the precat, install a hks intake and hks ssqv blowoff, and place a greddy 3 piece piping kit. Now I've heard this changes can lead to spiking of my boost pressure, resulting in detonation. Is this true? And if so, what can I do to prevent this?
