just giving you a hard time, but seriously, I don't even really understand what your question is.
I'm assuming from the title you want info on coverting a carburated 12a to fuel injected, but in the post you ask for info on your carburated setup you already have.
If you are going FI, you want to do it righ the first time. Stand alone engine management system. That alone will set you back $1000, not to mention all the other components needed (complete fuel system, manifolds, the list goes; on an on).
I haven't done this before, because I haven't needed to, but I speculate this could run you a few thousand dollars fairly easily.
You'd be better off to buy a complete 13BT (second generation RX-7 turbo engine) longblock and swap that in. It would cost less and you'd end up with a far better engine in the end.

Check out the 2nd Generation forum on this site, and go into the FAQ area. There you can find out the differences between S4 and S5 cars. Generally the S5 is a more desirable engine - it has better porting, a slightly better turbo, and the main benefit of upgraded engine internals.
Don't disregard the S4 engine though, unless you are planning something crazy, it will serve you just as good. If you want decent power you would replace hte turbocharger anyway, and porting the engine more than makes up for that difference. These S4 engines are perfectly fine when rebuilt with all stock components to safetly run at mid-high power levels (like 400 whp)
Thanks for joining the forum by the way! There's a search function in the top right corner. Being a few years old and having over 40,000 members, most questions can be answered by using that search. Don't be afraid to post if you can't find your asnwers though!
Also check out the 1st generation forum to see what else can be done with your current 12A setup if you are not quite ready to swap in the 13BT yet. I don't know a lot about 12A engines but the guys there are very helpfull.
