car started running bad

89 turbo II-so i finally got all the stuff together and a friend was back in town and wanted to waste some time so he went to work. he rebuilt my motor awhile back and due to little problems and a lack of time i only have about 200 miles on this thing. the motor was rebuilt using all the existing parts with the exception of seals, it has a haltech, 550 pri. 1600 sec. 3 bar map, a tune just to drive the car about half throttle and use some boost, a holset hx52, and supporting stuff for that. well yesterday my friend put the holset and supporting stuff on and we got her back up and running again so i drove it home. its probably 10 miles or so. i get to where im pulling in the neighborhood and the car starts running like ***, like blown motor ***. im freaking out so i baby it another block to the house and shut it down. i pull the plugs and crank it over and the compression isnt missing on any of the faces and sounds the same as it did before. so i figure vacumn hose and start looking around and didnt see anything. so i grabbed a set of of brand new 10s and put them in the leading holes and had my wife fire it up so i could listen for nything under the hood, shut the car down after about minute of listening to it barely idle and run like ****. go back to chucks and grab a compression tester and head back to the house. i get there and pull the brand new plugs i had just put in and they were covered in black nasty gunk and wreaked of fuel, the car has an oil leak and left quite a bit on chucks floor and when i check the oil its over the f and wreaks of fuel and is dripping of the dip stick way to quick. i dont know what happened, it was running great and pulling very well all the way until i was pulling in the neighborhood. any ideas? sorry for the life story.

Ended up being a bad water temp sensor/connection. Wrong temp was sent to ecu and flooding the motor.
