I read somwhere to put in a half cup of 2cycle oil in a near empty tank and fill the tank up w/gas- Can you clarify 100:1 ? I used to have a dirtbike a long time ago that was 32:1-but I dont remember how it was measured-in mL to gallon? Or what? Are you saying 100mL per gallon?

8 oz of oil to 6 gal of gas = 100:1, i put a little more then that. you supost to have less carbon build up with premix. and omp will fail at some point. especialy on s5.

i have heard 1 oz per gallon and that is what i put in my car. there is really no agreed upon ammount per gallon to add, so it comes down to personal opinion.

but yes the only reason to remove the omp, is to remove it as a path towards blowing up your engine. oh and it wont add the kinda oil you want in there for high rpm/power applications. unless you have a S5 hooked up to a standalone that lets you control the ammount of oil flow based on rpm. in any case premixing is the safest way to go. just dont forget your 2stroke oil!
