Bosch fuel pumps

Hi guys, so I have a set of duel Bosch 044 fuel pumps and my car isn't getting any fuel pressure. I was wondering has anyone ever experienced these pumps just going out? They're pretty new in my car and they haven't really been ran. Main reason I say the pumps is because a buddy of mine directly connected them to the battery and they still didn't turn on,so just seeing if anyone else has these pumps or anything, thanks.

i've seen a couple that just wore out really fast... if it doesn't spin at all, i'd wonder if its jammed with something?

Post some clear pictures of one of them that show the stamped info on the side, the inlet, and the electrical terminals.

You should be able to get a refund or replacement if they're genuine. Where did you buy them?

The likelihood of two genuine pumps suffering simultaneous infant mortality would have to be extremely low. And yes, there are a lot of us who run that pump without issue.

There's an internal mesh filter just after the inlet. I think jamming from debris ingested at the inlet is unlikely.
