Block off plates?

Why should I eliminate my ACV with block off plates?

What is the advantage of doing this?

The ACV is the main part for directing air from the air pump. If you have removed the air pump, then you don't need it anymore and you would just be removing unnecessary stuff from your engine.

No performance advantage to speak of, just simplifying things.

there are a bunch of stuff that's not needed once you start modding the car and block off plates allow you to clean all of it up.

ie AWS, Double Throttle, EGR
