best choice for core

i want to buy a n/a fc and get another n/a motor so i can use the stock wiring harness but build it for boost. i kno ill need lower compression rotors, but what is different between the n/a and turbo motors, would i need a turbo rebuild kit? id like to drive the car with teh original n/a motor in it until i have a nicely built motor and turbo setup to drop in. any advice? im not going to buy a tII either, i have a civic hatch with a jdm swap for a daily driver and i have limited funds for this project.

Just buy a T2. It'll probably come out to cost around the same and it'll be less of a headache.

Don't do it.
Boosting an NA motor with the stock NA ECU is asking for trouble.

Minimum you'll need a Turbo II ECU - yes, you can fudge the NA harness to make it work, but I don't recommend it for people who can't do electronics.

I'd suggest working on your Civic and don't even bother with the FC.
I'd bet you're going to start sinking in more time and money into the FC to make it go faster.
The Civic has it's limitations.
