best build ideas

i have finally decided to go with a rotor motor next, im coming from honda/acura and dsm's. iv purchased a rebuild video to see how they compare to pistons motors and wow, that looks really easy. if i bought a older fc (88-92) and took out the stock motor to build for a single turbo upgrade, what is the best rebuild kit i could purchase and whats the best combination on rotors, and porting? is building a n/a motor and turbo'ing that hard for rotarys? ive heard both that is hard, and that its the same motor in concept, just different internals/and no turbo and gets less fuel. the most ill do on tuning is a piggy back, probably a e-manage and see how it fairs with that. thanks for all input!

Your right, rebuilding a rotary is pretty easy.
If you are going turbo, then buy a TurboII, the N/A has high compression rotors which makes it harder to tune at high boost.
Streetmotor = Streetport, check out www.nopistons.com there is a motorbuilding and porting thread which is a great resource for motorbuilders.

Piggybags are great but for a high power turboII I would suggest to get a standalone like Haltech or Wolf3D

What do you want to do with the car? If you into dragging I would recommend an FB over pretty much any of the other years. The chassis is much lighter and very torsionally rigid. I would also make the same recommendation if you are Autocrossing it, road course seems to favor the FC over the FB.
You can turbo an NA rotary perhaps better than an NA piston engine, you will require a good management system that can fully compensate for boost (No piggy back) and pay a penalty in motor life.
