I just want to know the best location to insert the thermostat in? Is there a particular place i can drill, or even better, can i just screw it in somewhere that's already pre-threaded. thanks a lot for you help.

try your water pump and see if you can get an adapter. I had to thread mine on my FC, but you FD guys get all the good toys.
