I only use RA Super Seals from Rotary Aviation. To this day, I have never heard of a single one breakin. Only warping under EXTREME conditions.

I would NEVER use ceramic seals for anything other than all motor either. But, even then I would still use the RA Super Seals.

I ran the NRS seals. I don't have the experience as what some others in here have with seals, but i can attest to the carnage ceramic seals cause if something goes wrong.

I am not bashing any ceramic seals out there, but when considering seals, one of the biggest concerns besides sealing, is the amount of damage caused if things goes wrong.

When my motor blew, I lost a front plate, housing, rotor, mid plate and turbo from it. At least with the other "unbreakable" seals, you have a better chance of saving more components when things go down hill.

Just my 0.02
