hi, all. it has been quite a while. well let me get right to it. im getting my JDM 13bt rebuilt and my builder has recommended for me to use the atkins cryo treated apex seals or the rotary aviation super seals (both 2mm).
now, after the rebuid, it should have a large streetport. walbro fuel pump w/ rewire. stock TMIC, 4 x 550cc injectors, stock ECU(90 TII) stock turbo with aftermarket external wastegate and some kind of FPR. im not sure if thats everything but if i remember more ill edit this post.
so now, my questions are these.
What should the life expectency of the engine be? How much power should I expect? Which apex seal would last longer? Ive read the RA's hard, rarely break but wear the housings rather quickly. Id like my engine to last more than 20k miles (id like to be around 75k to 100k). Then the atkins i heard were gentler on the housings but are very sensitive to dentonation or pinging.
With the large streetport, would the 550cc secondaries be able to support my fuel? I plan on running maybe around 10 psi high and 5 or 6 for low and also do plan on sticking in 720 secondaries later down the road.
FYI, this will be a DD every now and then(may switch out for the civic a few days outta the week)
