Just picked one up for a song at the apex'i garage sale here in SoCal. Its definitly a nicely made piece. I've never listened to one installed first hand. I have heard its VERY loud. I have a DP and the RB intake duct/K+N for mods. Just to be safe, I bought the silencers too.


1. Am I going to get pulled over by every cop on the planet???

2. Is this thing going to give me a headache??

3. Will people riding with me hate all the noise?


Does ANYONE out there have an N1 dual audio file handy WITH a cat on? I'm interested in what it sounds like WITH a cat if thats cool.

Can someone who has one go capture some video/audio for reference?

Pretty Please with a Virgin on top?

hehe... just put it on, you can always take it off. yeah it's loud, but not unbearable (with the silencers anyway, heh).

 

with the silencers its sweet i got the same with a knocked out cat and header youll like the nice low tone.

 

I'm using the GReddy Power Extreme cat-back and it's pretty loud (with HKS Intake, Downpipe and Hi-Flo Cats).

It's not unbareable, and my wife doesn't mind the sound. Although she can hear me coming home or leaving.

I would guess it depends on your area, but I've never gotten pulled over. Besides, there are plenty cars in my area that are a lot louder than my car.

 

I wouldn't think that it would be unbearably loud. I have the Greddy Power Extreme, and it sounds great. Let me know what you think of the tone on the N1 though, cause I am considering the switch.
