Question Anyone tried this Summit Stainless Steel Radiator Hose?

Since I'm putting a 20B in my car, I have to custom make my radiator hoses. I was browsing summit's site, and despite the price of $140, I still like the looks of this piece and am thinking about using it.

Anyone have any first hand experience with something like this? Is it decent stuff?

48 in. long, polished radiator hose and cover kit

Summit's stainless steel hose bends and cuts easily, is non-corrosive and dissipates heat better than rubber. The kit includes one 48 in. length of hose, four ends, aluminum covers and stainless steel clamps.

Sold as a kit.

I have had it on my car for 3 years, and I like it alot. I don't think it's stainless steel because when you look inside it looks like copper. The hose will last a LONG time, but you'll need new ends once in a while. I've been using mine for 3 years without a problem. I got mine from a local shop. They're made by a company called Inglese.

Thats good news. Summit specifically calls them Stainles Steel, so I dunno. Can you find the Inglese version for less than $140?

If you get them without the endcaps they're cheaper. I don't remember how much mine cost, but they woiuld have been alot more with the endcaps. The hoses that Summit sells look good to me. I would have gotten them 3 years ago, but I didn't want to wait for them to be shipped. You could do a search for the Inglese hoses. The shop I got them from is http://www.skspeed.com .

I am looking more for a SS Braided radiator hose. Does anyone have this set-up or know what to buy? Wouldn't it be like 22AN?

Somewhere around -20 would work, but it would take a bit of custom fabrication to get it to work. Evilaviator has it on his car.
