Anybody done this before?

I had an idea last night. Seems simple enough so I was curious if it had been done before. Combination of a peripheral and side port. Each port has a throttle body. Primary injector on the side ports. Secondaries on the p-port. P-port throttle bodies dont open until those injectors kick on. The setup would require throttle by wire to control each of the four or six runners. Seems like you could get the best of both worlds. Anybody done anything like this. Is this how the renisis works?
