Any advise for long term engine storage?

Anyone have any good advice for storing a core engine that is totally intact, just getting long in the tooth. It has a lot of miles on it, but probly would make a good engine in case one was needed quickly.

What would be the best method for keeping oxidation and internal degradation to a minimum? I drained all the coolant out of it and sealed all ports and openings with those red caps, and sprayed WD in the ports and turned it over a few times.

Any advise for long term storage?

Change the oil and put fresh oil in, then

Buy fogging oil from a boat dealer, and spray it into the intake ports while turning the engine over with a starter.
