okay ... that was just too irresistible. i'll be serious now.
dude,
first of all, welcome to the board. second of all, the answer is NO! i would suggest spending a lot of time in the Gen III forum - oh, and if you think this was cold and heartless, wait until you ask a question like that there - just do some research for a while and see what it realistic and what's fiction. good luck.

Ya I believe the 4 rotor N/A put out between 7-800HP alone and that was awhile back. I am sure with advancments in technology and so on you could even get a bit more out of it. With turbos easily 1000HP

lol its not my car. Its a dude i met and he said he has a 950hp rx7. I told him its impossible. The max yu can hit with this engine is 550 and maybe 600. He still have the 13b engine. He didnt change engine. So i was just curious what yu guys were thinking of it.

Yeaaaa, the 4 rotor in the 787b car made 700hp at the engine but its totally designed for N/A use and its not just your typical 4 rotor...you cant just slap some turbos on it. If you want to try it you get purchase one of those engines from Jim Dowling...they are only $100K

THE MOST THAT HAS BEEN DONE IS 720HP ON A FD with a single turbo T-51KR boosting around 30psi. But even boosting that buch wouldnt last long. youll be rebuilding engines everytime you drive! the most for daily driven is 500hp AROUND 16PSI AND THATS WITH A T-88

Riggghhhhtttt, how about this dyno of 769rwhp turbo only with only 116 race gas.

Its making more now...thats an old dyno.
BTW - that car has a automatic tranny so the drive train loss is higher. You factor in that 20% drive losses and its making a little over 950 HP at the engine

That may be...I think the portion of you post people were commenting on was the part where you said "THE MOST THAT HAS BEEN DONE IS 720HP "
Thats not the most thats ever been done. It might be the most that was ever done in Japan though.

Max, how did they get 619rwhp with pump gas? Were they also using water/alcy injection? What kind of port? How many rpms were they turning? I've never heard of anyone making anywhere close to that on pump gas. Hell I dont know anyone thats been making over 500rw on pump gas.
You sure it wasnt some other rating besides hp???
