91 Turbo II Moderate Performance Upgrades?

So I have a 1991 Turbo II that I have upgraded the suspension (RB springs and sway bar with Tokico 5 way Illuminas), brakes (EBC rotors, Series7 front callipers, EBC pads, steel goodridge hoses), rebuilt gearbox, Series 7 Torsen LSD diff.
300bhp Clutch.
Runs on standard size wheels with Yoko AVS sports.

I want the car to look standard, no body kit rubbish, and it is my road car ( I have a race 12a '82 for track work). It already has teh Cat removed and a slighly larger than standard Exhaust system and I don't want it to make ridiculous amounts of noise...its already a bit too loud to be truly legal here in UK.
I think that about 250 at the rear wheels is enough, so thats about 280 at the flywheel.

The engine is good but needs a refresh:
(From 70mph; full bore acceleration to terminal stays with a 2005 Porsche Carrera S)
What would you guys recommend to achiece my 'modest' aims!

if it were mine and those were my goals, so i'd probably just get a standalone and tune with a few more pounds of boost (i don't believe in piggybacks). as for the rebuild, i no longer believe in stock ports, but if you're not interested in really porting the motor, i'd consider at least having the exhaust ports done.

i'm sure you'll get more input and ideas from others. this is just what i would do.

good luck.

I have no problem porting the engine, or even scalloping the rotors.
I just don't want to open then bonnet/hood and see loads of mods.
I don't want loads of electonic in the car either.
I don't have a problem with any of this but the police and insurance companies do.
I have race car for the serious stuff
