TII conversion is a) buy a t2 longblock and turbo or b) buy manifolds and turbo, take off parts to make it fit - but if rebuilding just get the t2 housings then manifolds, turbo, junk.

If you have engine out for rebuild port it out for a nice 50hp gain.
Ebay has engines, there are other links from the suppliers here.

There are a lot of other performance upgrades I would suggest too. This year I'm doing suspension with tires, coil overs, camber adjustment, and shocks. Removing exhaust restriction is 10-15hp. Going to an S-afc and leaning it out is another 10.

thanx for the reply sar yeah i think i will invest in porting for sure and if i can find a old rx in the junk yards close to here i am probably gonna go for turbo (if the price is right) lol and for porting what kind of port would you all say would be good so i get a good boost of power but at the same time i dont want my car to feel like **** on the low rpms and at idle like its misfiring what i have read about porting i think im looking at a mild port but what do you guys suggest?

I don't really know anything about ports regarding boost, but you'll need a turbo ecu or standalone system to watch the boost and react to it -- for the porting you should be able to get through with an s-afc.

Sounds like you want just a street port, if you talk to a porter the secondaries will not change the idle and low rpm revving nearly as much - if you keep a functioning 6 port system it would stay true.

Also, with most ports, if you have emissions tests you probably won't pass - NXT G I realize you're in canada and prob don't have emissions.
