3rd Gen SWAP: original 13B for a RX-8 13B RENESIS

I have thought and sincerely considered to do a "GRANNY's Shop type" engine swap for a new 3rd Gen. But, I'll stick with a rotary! The RENESIS perhaps?

Now I'm waiting for someone to challenge my project, somebody tell me all the bads about doing that swap.

Is it not bolt on (after all it's barely the same engine)?
Will I nead to strip the whole electronic system to be compatible, in other words order in all RX-8 components to put them in the 3rd Gen?

I think the Renesis is great not only it has win top 10's best engine of the year, but Mazda solved emission problems (my share for Global Warming) with the new ports location and 238HP isn't bad even if I'm a scary fast car fanatic.

With my searches it seems to be good project

Speak out people! I appreciate it

This has been discussed many times. Even if you swapped it correctly, using all of the RX-8 electronics, the car would still be slower than it would be with the stock REW motor. If you want to improve your emissions and fuel mileage, then you could probably go with an aftermarket computer and some really good tuning.
