*** Wideband Lambda Testing At Mads ***
*** WIDEBAND LAMBDA TESTING AT MADS ***
WHEN: March 30 & 31, at or near the MSCW MADS event at VIR
PRICE:
$40/hr if prescheduled and prepaid before March 15
$50/hr otherwise (minimum 1 hour)
(I may consider $20 for a "quick run" of less than 30 minutes, just to check a:f - ask)
HOW: Tailpipe probe and FJO Enterprises wideband lambda meter with low hour sensor, very quick setup.
WHY:
- stock ECU and wants to verify a:f ratio is correct (no problems with fuel system)
- stock ECU with mods, wants to verify current a:f ratio, determine headroom for more mods
- programmable ECU with rough tuning or base map, wants to verify a:f ratio
- programmable ECU, wants to tune for a particular a:f at specific boost levels
DETAILS:
If not prescheduled, I give no guarantee I will be available - first come, first serve, AFTER those prescheduled.
I reserve the right to refuse this service to anyone not prescheduled.
I can assist with modification of some programmable computers, but not all. If you wish to tune, please be sure that you know how to make basic fuel adjustments with your setup.
I can recommend target a:f ratios, but ultimately the target a:f is your decision.
If you will be driving on track at VIR, you may be able to take the unit on a lap or two of the track, but I can't guarantee this - VIR officials could object.
I will assist in setup and testing unless requested otherwise.
Contact Wade Lanham (wadelanham@hotmail.com) for any further questions or to schedule a testing time.
Thanks,
Wade
