Emergency Brake Setup With RacingBrake ?
Emergency Brake Setup With RacingBrake ?
I've been loosely following the threads from racing brake, and some of the threads are quite longwinded, so I wanted a quick answer on my concern which I found no clear answer on their website.
Does the kit RacingBrake Sell with 4 caliper front and rear brake setups hook up to the stock emergency brake setup ? Or do you end up having to fabriacate something or work around it by putting it in gear ? (Not something I want to do).

The RB setup has a new 4-pot caliper up front but uses a stock caliper in the rear. This is so the brake bias remains close to the original ratio while increasing stopping power especially during high heat situations.
Right, I didn't see that the "Kit" didn't include the rears... so then do you run a proportioning valve to get the bias to be the same, since you're increasing the surface area / efficiency of the fronts ?
Why is it so hard to make a rear claiper that works with the stock E-Brake line ?
I've also seen on High end Race-Cras like GT40 and Murcialgo that they have 2 Calipers in the rear, is that an option, if we get a new mount or change the ones we have ? and then run the e-brake to that caliper ?
