Just posting this up. Couple months ago me and a buddy were heading over to a friends house and he is always running his mouth about how fast his wrx is and all this **** talking about how he would kill my slow is300. Which it is slow but it's an automatic daily driver so I never say anything back really. Well we are at a light and he is reving it up so I said ok fine whatever. I power braked it for a second and he just started laughing. So when it turns green we both take off dead even off the line. then we he shifted to second he dropped to my door and I pulled a little bit more buy the end of third I had like 2 cars on him. I thought it was pretty cool he didn't even say anything when we got to his house. Not a 7 kill but thought I would put it up. You guys know you can't mess with the 2jz engine.

 

Unless your IS300 is modded, either he's only got a 2.5RS or he is the worst driver ever. I murdered an IS300 with exhaust/intake with my TII from a roll when I was completely stock. WRX's run low 14 second 1/4 mile times, the IS300 runs like a mid 15 when manual, auto's are more like high 15 second cars.

 

TII are much faster than wrx from what I can tell wrx's just don't feel fast to me at all. But no his was a turbo for sure. I just thought it was funny I'm not bragging I would never mod a lexus that's just lame.

 

Trust me I have driven a WRX and an is300 my buddy has an is300 sportshift tiptronic thing whatever. The is300 is slow and if you were dead even off the line he doesnt know how to luanch the wrx the thing has awd he needs to take advantage of that not to mention it would still beat the is300 from a roll. So your buddy just cant drive for crap

 

your friend can't drive at all, he should have MURDERED you.

 

a WRX isn't particularly strong from a roll. Those low 14 second ET's are just 'cause of the AWD. I think they only trap like 95

 

auto is300's are dogs..

i used to work in lexus when my dad was working there and they are slow..

even if both cars were stock, i doubt you can win by 2-3 cars or whatever you said..is his car stock?

im not calling bs, you prob did win but that goes to show that he sucks at driving..
